Vuba Stone is not the same as traditional epoxy systems commonly used in North America. While both involve binding decorative aggregates with resin, Vuba Stone uses a UV-stable polyurethane resin, not epoxy. This makes it significantly more flexible, durable, and resistant to yellowing or cracking, especially in outdoor environments.

Epoxy systems are prone to discoloration and brittleness over time, particularly when exposed to sunlight and temperature changes. In contrast, Vuba Stone is specifically engineered for outdoor use, offering superior UV resistance, permeability, and long-term performance on surfaces like driveways, patios, walkways, pool decks and more.

Vuba Stone is a low-maintenance surface, but to keep it looking its best, we recommend removing dirt and debris regularly and pressure washing the area. Additionally, every five years, applying a reseal will help rejuvenate and enhance the appearance and durability of the surface.

Vuba Stone can be applied in temperatures as low as 41°F (5°C) and even in conditions above 100°F (38°C). The system’s curing speed is affected by temperature, but you can adjust the reaction time by varying the amount of catalyst used. In colder weather, more catalyst is added to speed up curing, while in hotter conditions, less catalyst is needed to slow the reaction so you have a longer working time.
